We realize coming into a new church can be daunting and overwhelming. There may be a tendency to think that all the ministries around the church are covered, but the truth is, we are in constant need of ministry help and workers. There are a variety of opportunities to serve here at Cross Roads.
Nursery Ministry
Our nursery provides a warm and joyful environment where our youngest members are loved and cared for in a secure, background-checked setting. By providing a space for little ones to play and rest, we ensure that parents can focus fully on worship and the Word. This ministry provides a family’s first experience of the church's love, demonstrating the Gospel through gentle, hands-on care.
Children’s Ministries
From high-energy VBS weeks to engaging Sunday morning classes, our children’s ministry is packed with fun, fellowship, and faith-building adventures. We create vibrant environments where kids can build godly friendships and discover the wonders of God's Word through summer camps and regular activities. Every lesson is designed to lead children toward a lifelong relationship with Jesus by showing them how the Bible connects to their world.
AWANA Clubs
AWANA is a fast-paced Wednesday night experience where kids grow through games, scripture memory, and earned rewards. It is a highlight of the week where children build deep relationships and learn theological truths in a way that is both challenging and incredibly fun. By hiding God’s Word in their hearts, these students are being equipped to understand and communicate the Gospel for the rest of their lives.
Teen Ministries
Our Teen ministries provide a community where students in grades 6–12 find genuine connection through biblical truth and vibrant worship. We focus on grounding teenagers in Scripture to help them navigate modern challenges with spiritual confidence and discernment. Our mission is to partner with parents, equipping their children for adulthood in a world that often devalues the things of God. By fostering Godly friendships and a heart for service, we hope to prepare the next generation to stand firm in their faith and follow Jesus for a lifetime.
Worship Ministry
Cross Roads Baptist Church aims to please God and be spirit-led through a blend of traditional and modern music, tailored to their style. Our main objective is to honor and glorify God, to minister to and encourage the Church body, and to prepare hearts for God’s word. Every note played and song sung is a direct proclamation of the Gospel, celebrating the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.
Hospitality & Care Ministry
The Hospitality and Care Team serves as the "front door" of our church, ensuring every guest feels genuinely seen, welcomed, and valued from the moment they arrive. Through warm greetings and intentional follow-up visits, we strive to turn every visitor’s first impression into a lasting connection. This team paves the way for the Gospel by removing social barriers and showing people they truly belong in God’s house.
Usher Ministry
The Usher Ministry assists with the flow of our services, helping everyone feel comfortable and cared for as they find their seats. From assisting with the offering to distributing handouts, our ushers ensure that every service flows smoothly and reverently. By maintaining a welcoming and orderly environment, they help create a space where the Gospel can be received with a focused heart.
Media Ministry
The Media Ministry uses modern technology to create a seamless and immersive worship experience that helps the congregation focus entirely on the Lord. By managing sound, screens, and our livestream, this team ensures that every word of the message is heard clearly both in the room and around the world. Their technical excellence serves as a megaphone for the Gospel, allowing the Word of God to reach people wherever they are.
Parking Lot Ministry
Our Parking Lot Ministry offers a first-class welcome by assisting guests with golf cart rides and ensuring a safe, secure environment for every vehicle. This team is the first point of contact for many, providing a helping hand that demonstrates the servant heart of Christ before a visitor even reaches the door. Their hospitality shows that we care about the details of people's lives, reflecting the Gospel’s message of care and protection.
Athletics Ministry
Our Athletics Ministry uses the excitement of sports like softball and basketball to foster a Godly, fun atmosphere for competition and teamwork. Over the years, we've offered adult leagues, run clubs, and youth clinics, creating a unique space for our community to connect, stay active, and build character. These platforms create natural bridges to share the Gospel with people who might never step foot in a traditional church service.
Senior Life Ministry
Our Senior Life Ministry brings the joy of the church directly to local retirement communities through uplifting Sunday afternoon services filled with singing and preaching. It is a beautiful opportunity to honor our elders and share the warmth of Christ’s love with those who may not be able to travel to a church building. This ministry ensures that the hope of the Gospel continues to shine brightly for residents in every season of their lives.
Hands of Hope Ministry
Hands of Hope is an outreach ministry that delivers care packages and handwritten encouragement to widows, shut-ins, and neighbors in our community. On the first Wednesday of each month, volunteers turn the love of Christ into a tangible gift that reminds the lonely they are never forgotten. This ministry demonstrates the Gospel in action, proving that God’s love reaches into the quietest and most isolated corners of life.
Kitchen & Food Ministry
The Kitchen and Food Ministry brings our church family together around the table, facilitating fellowship and warmth through shared meals and special events. These volunteers serve behind the scenes to fuel our midweek services and celebrate the milestones of our congregation with hospitality. By fostering a sense of family through breaking bread, they create a community of love where the Gospel can be discussed and lived out over a meal.
Missions Ministry
Our Missions Ministry is a global heartbeat that connects Cross Roads to over 100 missionaries who are sharing Christ in every corner of the earth. We take great joy in being a sending church that provides the prayer and financial support necessary for church-planters and missions projects to thrive. We are thrilled to take part in the Great Commission, helping the Gospel be preached in every nation and in every tongue.
